Valentine Shmalentine Tees on TV-ShmeeVee!

I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. It’s been such a busy beginning of the year, including an awesome trip to New Mexico for the annual meeting of Edible Communities, for whom I do design work. But more about that later! (along with some great photos of snow and chilies.)

For today, I have to share this wonderful [...]

Heard it Through the Grapevine: Terroir Alerts!

But no Molotov cocktails here; in fact, no cocktails at all. The terroirists are all about wine.

“Terroir” — not terror (heehee, fooled you)––is a term from the French word terre or land. It refers to the localization of wine grapes that gives a wine its particular taste. As wine making becomes more [...]

A Para Cows and a Cannon

Not a circus act, but two new silly designs with the Israeli Hebrew slang expressions.

“Para para”(Lit, “cow, cow”) means “one by one” or “one at a time.” I was suddenly inspired to make this mooving design after chatting with Cheri, my gal pal from my many years in Israel.  I never understood the connection between cows [...]

We’ve just added a line of organic shirts to join the lone fitted shirt we’ve had for a few years now, and we couldn’t be more excited. Nearly all our designs are now available on these soft, sustainable shirts from either American Apparel or EConscious.

Our organic line now consists of 2 men’s tees (regular and [...]

We’re Livin’ La Vida Locavora

That’s right, we love supporting local food whenever possible and we’re celebrating with a new colorful, tropically-infused design.

Fruits and vegetables practically pulsate in rhythm around the fun lettering “Livin’ La Vida Locavora.”

And fun upon fun — only hours after we presented this design, it got featured on the Nifty Wares site.  Farmer hats off to them!

Twilight Shirts are Here

The books are hot, the movie is out, and Twilight is experiencing a new, um, dawn. Flying off our virtual shelves like vampires into the night are t-shirts with our “Greetings from Forks, WA” design.

Vintage-style travel graphic says “Greetings from Forks, WA” and shows a vacationing fisherman with vampire irony. (Smaller print says “Where they [...]

Japanese Town of Obama Celebrates

In May we reported on how the town of Obama, Japan, was supporting the U.S. presidential candidate whose name it shares

Upon hearing that Americans elected Barack Obama as their forty-forth president, the Fukui prefecture town burst out in celebration. The party kicked off Wednesday morning with Hawaiian dancing performed by the “Obama Girls,” in honor of [...]

Examiner Likes Our Nerdy Hip Factor

Our Future Paleontologist toddler shirt is featured in Examiner.com’s “Best Hip Todder Shirts” for its “nerdy hip factor.”

The Examiner picked it out of our sister shop, UnEarthedTees (cool geo-science gear) but it’s available at Rotem Gear as well in our baby section here. Big shout-out to the Examiner for putting us on their “Best [...]
