…you’ll find us at the Holiday Gift Faire at Congregation Ner Tamid. Some 30 vendors will be selling more lovely gifts, including my friend Carrie Sommer of SommerDesigns. No, we’re not cooking for Thanksgiving. One of our t-shirts became a tasty ingredient over at T-Shirt Casserole (”T-shirts from Anywhere, Tossed Together, Baked for an Hour, and Reviewed”.)
It’s only appropriate that the shirt they picked was our “Greetings from Forks, WA” because after all, the tag line is “…where they really bite!” Bon appetite and Happy Fangsgiving!

The books are hot, the movie is out, and Twilight is experiencing a new, um, dawn. Flying off our virtual shelves like vampires into the night are t-shirts with our “Greetings from Forks, WA” design.
Vintage-style travel graphic says “Greetings from Forks, WA” and shows a vacationing fisherman with vampire irony. (Smaller print says “Where they really bite.”)

Greetings from Forks, WA
Available on kids’, juniors’ and adults’ t-shirts, sweatshirts and tote bags. See the entire collection here!

Ho-ho-holiday season is upon us and that means holiday boutiques and bazaars. We visited the awesome Felt Club today, saw many talented designers (and a bunch of friends among them — so fun!) and now we’re inspired!
Anyway, on November 22 from 10 am to 3 pm, we’ll be at the Beethoven Street Elementary School 5th Annual Holiday Boutique with holiday shopping for all, raffles, food, games and crafts for the children.

In May we reported on how the town of Obama, Japan, was supporting the U.S. presidential candidate whose name it shares
Upon hearing that Americans elected Barack Obama as their forty-forth president, the Fukui prefecture town burst out in celebration. The party kicked off Wednesday morning with Hawaiian dancing performed by the “Obama Girls,” in honor of Obama’s adoptive state, where his grandmother, who passed away Monday, had lived.

Residents of Obama, Japan, celebrate in Hawaiian garb
Town leaders hope the international fame generated by their support will translate into increased business opportunities, and local merchants are already selling Obama Burgers, Obama sushi rolls and other products with the president-elect’s face stamped on them.
