Rotem Gear was featured in a Hanukkah Gift Guide on BlogHeralong with some awesome company like Chosen Beer and the Jewish Museum :DÂ We’re also happy to have learned about The Jew and the Carrot who also give some excellent (and sustainable) gift suggestions.

This Sunday, November 18, is the incomparable Felt Club, a venue for 75+ artists, crafters, and designers — including Rotem Gear. The $5 admission includes a ticket to win a fantastic door prize, and the first 250 visitors will be treated to swag bags full of cool magazines, craft patterns, coupons, buttons, gifts and samples from sponsors and vendors .

Rotem Gear will be sharing our tent with Textile Fetish and a bevy of lovingly hand-sewn sock monkeys, so look for our signature burnt-orange-and gray logo along with some funky fabric pennants! Add to the mix swell eats, music and craft classes throughout the day and you’re in for a fun time indeed!
New this year at Felt Club is the addition of “Maker Square,” a mini version of the popular Maker Faire event—hosted by the staff of Make and Craft magazines. Maker Square brings together science, art, craft and engineering in a fun, energized and exciting public forum, and will present demonstrations in robotics, unusual musical instruments, soft circuits, microcontrollers, and more, such as Mister Jalopy and his mobile movie theater-on-a-tricycle.

Another off-beat design, inspired those crazy “lol cats” at I Can Has Cheezburger, but for Chanukah. Edit: The cool Judaica gift blog ChosenThings showed us some love by featuring “Im in ur kitchen eating ur latkes!” Check them out — they have a knack for finding the best stuff.

Don’t laugh. It’s been known to happen. Ok, wait, laugh. That’s the point, after all. Available here on shirts for all types, sizes and ages.

Put this under the “Now we’ve seen everything” category … Jones Soda has 2 special issue holiday packs of their soda — one for Christmas and one for Chanukah.
Each set comes with four different sodas. The Chanukah flavers incude: Latke Soda, Apple Sauce Soda, Chocolate Coins Soda and Jelly Doughnut Soda. The Christmas flavors include Christmas Ham Soda, Christmas Tree Soda, Egg Nog Soda and Sugar Plum Soda.

Interestingly, the Christmas sodas, including the ham-flavored one, are kosher. We could see egg nog soda being good but have no desire to try ham soda and it has nothing to do with dietary laws. Not so sure about latke soda either. Could peppermint stick soda have been so hard? Still, we love weirdness! (Last year they had turkey and gravy -flavored soda!)
A portion of sales go to charity
$12.99 each, including dreidel or stocking stuffer.
Thanks for the tip to JGoode!

We have a couple of new latkes -themed t-shirts, so yummy you’ll want to smear them with sour cream and gobble ‘em up! Ok, maybe that’s a bit extreme but we are practically doing the hora over our new “Peace, Love, Latkes” design — already selling like hotcakes …err… make that potato pancakes!

Available here for adults, juniors and kids and so cute for babies!:
