Nautical Not for Naught
In case you’ve missed the memo, nautical is big this season. Dannielle Romano, editor at DailyCandy, hosted a great segment on the Today Show about what is and is not nautical:
The nautical look is different from beachy. Beachy is Miami and suntan lotion, bikinis, sarongs, tanks and towels. Nautical takes its cues from swarthy sailors, like Gatsby goes yachting and glamorous, fabled seaside towns like Portofino.
But the most exciting thing for us about the show was the feature of this awesome boat-neck top by our friends at TwoSpace Studio. Congrats, Christine! Click on the photo to see it at TwoSpace Studio, grab yourself one (available in different colors, as well as solids) and to see what other styles they have dreamed up for the taking.

Rotem Gear has also getting on board the SS Nautical Craze with our new, fresh-as-a-sea-breeze ship wheel and seahorse designs. The tote is perfect for summer, and our ceramic coasters are just the thing for drinks on the beach patio (or pretending you have one.) It’s especially jazzy on a red cap-sleeve top, paired with a pair of high-waisted white trousers!

Even the littles shipmates can join the crew with our mix and match bib and top or onesie.
Of course, we’re biased but we think they’re more fun than a bottle of rum.
