In case you’ve missed the memo, nautical is big this season. Dannielle Romano, editor at DailyCandy, hosted a great segment on the Today Show about what is and is not nautical:

The nautical look is different from beachy. Beachy is Miami and suntan lotion, bikinis, sarongs, tanks and towels. Nautical takes its cues from swarthy sailors, like Gatsby goes yachting and glamorous, fabled seaside towns like Portofino.

But the most exciting thing for us about the show was the feature of this awesome boat-neck top by our friends at TwoSpace Studio. Congrats, Christine! Skateboard Legend Ray Flores of Dogtown will be rocking out on the Project Nightlight skate ramps along with the All Girl Skate Jam of the Vans Warped Tour.

A silent auction will feature several original autographed skateboards donated by Flores & The Dogtown crew. Various tv and film production houses (Sony Studios, Blur Studios & The Village Recorder) will be auctioning off those experiences that can only be accessed if “you know someone”, such as set visits, motion capture sessions and red-carpet premiere admission. Many other businesses are donating everything from laser treatments to snowboarding trips.

A fashion boutique will offer up the latest and greatest for the t-shirt wearing elite of Los Angeles. Rotem Gear will be joining such labels as Loomstate, 2bFree, Peoples Liberation and Brick Lane.
