An interesting thing happened at Rotem Gear yesterday. We were contacted by Metro, a free newspaper in NYC, Boston and Philadelphia, for a photo of our “got falafel?” ringer t-shirt. Of course we are delighted with any publicity — who wouldn’t be? When we heard it was to accompany an article about a recent Arab-American Fashion Show because they were unable to get the AP photos, we explained more than once that our shirt was not part of the show and that we were unaffiliated with the show –– so that there would be no misrepresentation or misunderstanding.

But uh-oh! the page states that the shirt was displayed in the show. That might cause some confusion. Again, publicity is a great thing but this sort of editorial boo-boo is less than fair to both our company and the folks from the fashion show.

But falafel is a good thing, yes?
